I love geography and anthropology. Storytelling is what drives everything I do.

I began my career at Wieden+Kennedy Portland. Since then, I've worked in a variety of media industries: advertising, broadcast television, documentary, and online media. These experiences have informed, broadened, and enhanced my visual aesthetic and ability to connect to wider audiences.

I believe that film should educate by offering perspectives in ways that effect compassion. Currently, I edit for MasterClass, developing the editorial styles for classes and trailers in an emerging genre of educational media. During my first class edit, I worked alongside director Werner Herzog on his living room couch.

My films have been played at festivals worldwide, including the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. My work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Variety, The Guardian, and VICE, culminating +100 MM views.

I almost died while filming on an illegal fishing boat in the open ocean, but my Mom thinks I'm being dramatic.
